WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF GETTING A PEEL?

HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR A PEEL AT BROW DOWN STUDIO?
In the days leading up to your peel, avoid heavy exfoliation and discontinue the use of acids (AHAs, BHAs or retinol). During the initial consultation, it is important to be open and honest with your esthetician about the products used at home and/or any past treatments. This information will help us provide you with the most effective professional treatment.
SHOULD I REMOVE MAKEUP BEFORE MY FACIAL TREATMENT?
While it is helpful, it is not a requirement! Each skincare treatment begins with a thorough cleanse to remove any makeup, dirt, oil, or debris from your skin.
WHAT IS THE AFTERCARE AND PEELING PROCESS?
You may have minimal to complete peeling of the skin depending on the grade of the peel. We offer 2 low-grade peels with light to minimal peeling that would only last a few days at most, and 1 medium-grade peel where you will experience full peeling of the skin for about a week. We will provide detailed after care instructions, but most importantly you should limit sun exposure, wear SPF at all times, and refrain from peeling the flaking skin..
WILL THE PEEL HURT?
You may feel a slight stinging or tingling sensation during the application of the peel solution, which will subside after 30-60 seconds. If you feel any irritation, burning or major discomfort during your treatment, please let your esthetician know immediately.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I GET A FACIAL PEEL?
You can get a peel every 4-6 weeks to achieve desired results, and then we recommend getting a peel every 3-6 months to maintain improved skin results and prevent further aging and environmental damage.
